I performed a tune up on a Bryant A/C unit. I found the refrigerant needed some added to it. I informed the customer and they approved. I cycled the system to ensure functionality. System is operational upon departure.
I completed the spring tune up on a Bryant air conditioner. I visually inspected the furnace. Checked voltage and amps. I inspected the evaporator coil. I checked the temperature difference across the coil. Checked refrigerant charge, voltages and amps. I rinsed the condenser coils with water. Cycled and monitored the system. Operating normally at this time.
I performed a diagnostic on a Carrier gas furnace. I found that a 24 volt fuse had blown so I replaced it. I also found that the thermostat wire was bad so I rewired it correctly. The system was operating according to manufacturer's specifications when I left.
I performed a tune up and safety check on an air conditioning unit. I found that the blower wheel was dirty and so was the return air filter. I also found that the compressor needed replacement but customer declined.
